Over two years ago I discovered the existence of the Fashion Spot.com; shortly thereafter I
was introduced to the new breed of doll-faced alien models. Having long been a fan of Devon
Aoki I was thrilled at the prospect of more of her kind. Red-headed models were also gaining
favor at this time, I like many other red-heads thought it was nice to see more of these girls
and women in the fashion world. Several websites had been made or were in the works for
some of the up and coming models, but none had been made for several girls gaining
popularity. Lily Cole, Heather Marks, and Cintia Dicker. They also happened to be in my top
five favorites of new models. So after a bit of thought I found a host, I picked a name and I
created Porcelain-Beauty.com.
Unfortunately several months later a series of things happened that left me unable to update the
site and so it has stayed the same for the last 20 months. Even without me updating it I have
been shocked at the growing popularity of the site, seems it spread word of mouth across the
net and now has fans from Russia to Japan.
As of this month though, as it is summer I am redesigning the site and updating it as well. I
have also secured the domain PorcelainBeauty.com and I am using a new host with that
domain. When I have finished it I will close the original site, buy the domain (It was included
free as long as I hosted with the old host.) and have it forwarded to this site, so as to not
interrupt the flow for frequent visitors.
During my lapse with working on my site a beautiful site was made for Cintia Dicker, so I've
decided to work on a site for Tiiu Kuik instead.
This site is 100% Non-Profit. I pay for it to be hosted out of pocket. I never have and never
will have advertisements on it or have Anything posted on it that is an attempt to make money
off the site. As I did not take any of the exquisite photographs of the models or had any hand
in their making I consider it both immoral and most likely illegal to attempt to profit off others’
hard-work. This site more then anything is for my enjoyment, an organized personal archive
of photographs of my favorite models. If other people enjoy looking at it them too then that is
great.
I do provide links to other fashion and model sites that I like, as well as sites that may prove
helpful to viewers, and I have link exchange partners with other photo sites. I make zero profit

Amara@PorcelainBeauty.com. If you provide me with your real or online name I will be
sure to credit you for providing the site with the image(s). I can also include a link to your
website, Myspace, Livejournal, or TNG forum profile, if you would like. The only exception
to including a link with crediting you is if I find the linked page to be obscene or offensive.
I personally oppose hotlinking; this does not mean I have not done so myself in the past, I
don't now though. When I was new to posting images on the net, I did not know what it was.
After I found out what it is and was informed of the effect it had on web owners sites, I
started looking for a place to host my images online. A friend pointed me to photobucket and
my hotlinking days were over. Now that being said, though I would implore you not to do so
on other people’s sites, I do not mind if you hotlink a few images from my sites. I can afford
the bandwidth for people to do so. I know this because people have been hotlinking my site I
think as long as it has existed and I’ve never had a problem bandwidth wise. A mention of
where you got the image would be appreciated. You could also provide a direct link to my site
with this code:
If however you are ready to kiss your hotlinking days good-bye then I would recommend
Photobucket or ImageShack. Those are the only two image hosting sites I have personally
used, so the only two I will refer others to.
I will kindly ask that No images on this site be taken and used with the intent to gain profit off
of them, but will not be held liable if people do so. If you were not personally involved in the
making of the photographs then you do not have the right to attempt to profit off of them.

can write html to an extent and not much else. I do not use pre-made templates, I start with
blank pages and go from there. It takes longer, but looks nicer then the cookie cutter
templates. The backgrounds and navigation buttons were made in Serif Photo Plus 6.0, all
photo editing was done with that program as well.
I use Mozilla-Firefox and Opera web browsers, those are the only browsers I check my site in
to see how it looks. I believe it is virtually impossible to make a site that looks the same in
every browser. Particularly if you take into account that even people using the same browser
may have different screen resolutions, browser preferences, or window size. I'm only
mentioning the browsers I use because I like them.
